Alton Elementary Physical Education

 

Hello everyone and welcome back for the 2016-2017 school year. We are excited to get this school year started. My name is Mario S. Martinez and I am the P.E. coach at Alton Elementary. I come with 10 years of experience in the physical education and health education field and I will be starting my 11th year as a P.E. coach (Start of my 12th year in Education).

 

As some of you may know, we have been incorporating the health and wellness initiative that was brought to our district by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. There will be some changes made this coming year that will affect students, parents, and staff members.  If you would like more information, please feel free to give me a call.

We are also in progress of reaching the dates for our annual sports tournaments and once these dates are provided to me, I will post them on the calendar. Our students will have the opportunity to participate in different sporting tournaments throughout the year such as volleyball, flag football, basketball, cross country, soccer, and track events. We know this will be another great year for all our students and staff. As always, good grades and good behavior are a must in order to participate in all sporting events.  

I will try my best to update this website with information and pictures of our student-athletes.
