Principal's Message

Dear Alton Elementary Families,
 
Welcome back to a brand-new school year at Alton Elementary – Patriot Nation! I hope this letter finds you and your family rested, recharged, and ready for an exciting 2025-2026 school year. We are thrilled to open our doors once again and continue the important work of nurturing, inspiring, and empowering every child, every day.
As your proud principal, I am deeply honored to lead a school community filled with compassionate educators, eager learners, and supportive families. Whether you are returning to Alton or joining us for the first time, know that you are now part of a special place where students are not only expected to learn, but also to lead.
 
This year, our focus remains on:
·        Academic Excellence through rigorous instruction and meaningful support
·        Student Leadership and Voice through the continued implementation of The Leader in Me
·        Bilingual and Biliterate Success as we nurture both our English and Spanish speakers on a path to fluency and confidence
·        Positive Relationships and School Culture, where every child feels safe, valued, and seen
We believe that families are a child’s first and most important teachers, and we invite you to be an active part of your child’s learning journey. Together, we will continue building a strong school-home partnership that leads to student success.

·        Meet the Teacher Night: August 14th @ 5PM 
·        First Day of School: August 18th
